This month, we’re bragging all about one of our very talented DJs, Marty Miserandino. Marty has been a mighty force behind the scenes of NuImage, as well as on the dance floors, spinning tunes for thousands of weddings over the last 15 years.  We’re so thankful for his dedication and excitement for working with us and cannot wait for the years to come!

We got a chance to connect with Marty and learn more about what drives him on and off the dance floor.

When did you start working at NuImage? I started working at NuImage in 2002 after seeing Peter (Owner of NuImage) DJ a friend’s wedding. I was blown away at his MC skills, his energy, class, and how much FUN the wedding was. I was DJ’ing for another company at the time, but knew I had to work with Peter. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
What is your current role at NuImage? While my main responsibilities are to DJ events, I also try to serve as an advisor of sorts. In addition to DJ’ing I own my own business, a Nationally recognized bicycle shop called Fit Werx in Peabody. The skills I have learned as a business owner come in handy when thinking of new ideas, marketing, etc.

What do you like/find the most rewarding about your job? I’ve said it over and over again… There’s nothing better than seeing people have fun and knowing that I was the catalyst to their great time. For people to tell me that I’m the best DJ they ever saw and for clients to come up to me at the end of their wedding with the widest smiles… PRICELESS!

Do you have a favorite season at work? Yeah, wedding season. :-)  It’s when I get to make people happy.

What are your hobbies outside of work?  In addition to owning my own business as I mentioned, I also compete in Triathlons… swimming, biking & running. I’ve done two Ironman Distance races, 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 run, and I compete in smaller events, too. My main hobby and love outside of work is my supportive family including my wife Keri-Ann and daughters Noella and Millie. They truly are my everything.

Thanks for reading,
